I hope to see you this year at the Healthcare Marketing and Physician Strategies Summit in Orlando. This is a terrific conference for healthcare marketing and physician relations professionals who, for the most part, are all dedicated to the same set of goals: driving growth, improving service, defining the brand, understanding and communicating with customers, and continually adapting to meet the challenges presented within the ever-changing healthcare environment. This is one of my favorite events of the year where I can reconnect with colleagues from around the country, share leading edge practices and network to my heart’s content. The conference runs from April 30 to May 2, 2014.
This year I will be playing a role in two presentations. The first is a presentation on “Digital Physician Relations” where I will be co-presenting with Lyle Green of MD Anderson. The talk is based on an article we published last year in eHealthcare Strategy & Trends. It articulates a vision for the future of physician relations. The second presentation is a panel that I will moderate that delves into the role of video in healthcare and physician marketing. Panelists will include Mark Shelley of Lexington Medical Center, Marie Gross of Signature Healthcare, and Gabrielle DeTora of Gabrielle DeTora Consulting. This is an all-star panel!
