Check out the new TV spot below from BCBS of North Carolina. It says everything that hospitals should be saying. Once again, the health insurance companies are positioning themselves as the champions of the people; in this case, people of color. They are taking a very public stand against racism within their service area. Hospital leaders need to learn from this. Drive a stake in the ground! Take a strong stand against racism and health inequities, and then get to work making positive change within underserved neighborhoods in your community.
