With all the attention on the coronavirus and ways to prevent it, fundamental measures like handwashing stand out as simple actions we can each take to stay healthy. This takes me back to my all-time favorite hand hygiene program that my firm developed for Tufts Medical Center years ago – but still relevant today. It was an internal campaign primarily targeting healthcare workers. Some of the messaging was developed for patients and family members. This campaign had remarkable results and was featured in the Joint Commission’s Journal on Quality and Patient Safety. Enjoy this timely campaign.
