The first three days of #SHSDM19 have been an unqualified success. On Tuesday, Dr. Zeev Neuwirth gave the end of day keynote. It was an amazing, heartfelt call to action directed at the audience of healthcare strategists, marketers, and communicators. He reminded us of the role that we can play in reframing healthcare! After his presentation, many of us stood in line to buy a copy of his new book and have it signed by the author. I met Dr. Neuwirth at the #HITMC19 conference in Boston earlier this year and enjoyed reconnecting with him. His presentation was a highlight of the conference and one of several incredibly strong keynotes.
For Twitter analytics from the conference, the numbers keep climbing. To date, we’ve had 375 people tweeting using the official #SHSMD19 hashtag. They have tweeted 2,464 times and generated 9.7 million potential impressions. (Twitter analytics are courtesy of Symplur.) I’ve also shared information below about the #SHSMD19 influencers on Twitter. I’m particularly excited to see several members of SHSMD’s Digital Engagement Task Force on the list of influencers including Kelly David and Amy Jose of Spectrum Healthcare Partners in Portland, Maine. (I co-chair that committee.) I can always count on my friends and colleagues, Jeff Steblea and Colin Hung, to help drive the conversation on Twitter. The contribution of all of these people is important. I’ve had a number of people who could not attend this year’s conference shoot me messages letting me know how much they enjoy following the Twitter stream.
