Registration is now open for the 24th Annual Healthcare Marketing & Physician Strategies Summit. This is one of my favorite conferences of the year and I have been fortunate to serve on the conference faculty for more than a decade. One of the things that is special about this event is that the curriculum is not decided by committees. Rather, Judy Neiman (President of the Forum for Healthcare Strategists), her conference co-chairs, and her team hand-select the speakers and curriculum based on input from leading healthcare strategists and past attendees. They sweat the details and go through an agonizing process to develop the conference agenda. That maniacal focus makes this conference different and I believe it shows in the final product.
One other thing that is unique about this conference is its size. The Healthcare Marketing & Physician Strategies Summit does not have thousands of attendees. It is smaller and more intimate than some of the big healthcare marketing conferences. You can expect 700 to 800 attendees at HMPS. I like the scale of this event and the intimacy the comes with it.
This year, the conference will be held May 21–23 in Chicago at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. I just reviewed the conference brochure/agenda and I was overwhelmed by the content. It promises to be an amazing three days of learning and networking. So many of the presenters are professionals I know, like, and respect – people like Dean Browell, Suzanne Hendery, Ahava Leibtag, Chris Boyer, Matt Gove, Reed Smith, Michael Eaton, Jeff Gross, Chris Bevolo, Brian Whitman, Erin DiBacco, and Linda MacCracken, to name a few.
