For the last few weeks, my team at Jennings has been preparing Lamplighter Award entries for our various healthcare clients in New England. The Lamplighter Awards is an annual competition produced by the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo). It recognizes the best advertising, marketing, and PR work by healthcare organizations in the region.
Although the early deadline (save money!) is next Monday, January 21, the entire competition will close on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:59 pm. All entries must be completed electronically through the NESHCo Lamplighters system by that time. Early entries for members are $85 per submission with the price increasing as we approach the final deadline. There is a clear financial incentive to get your entries in early.
This is one of the more meaningful awards competitions we enter because it is not a beauty contest. Each entry is judged based on a case study you submit, and results have a significant impact on the judges’ decisions. Ultimately, the Lamplighters are about what kind of measurable impact was made.
