We had an amazing Healthcare Leadership Twitter Chat (#HCLDR) on Tuesday evening. The discussion was around the benefits of creating true healing environments. We also examined many different ideas about what elements go into creating a healing environment: art, music, quiet, light, hand hygiene, listening, physician-patient interaction, etc. I was so taken with the discussion, and believe the topic is of such importance, that I decided to use Storify to curate the conversation. Below is the link to my Storify of the “Healing Environments” Twitter Chat.
If you’d like more information about the weekly #HCLDR Chat, visit the blog at http://hcldr.wordpress.com/. Each week we post information about the upcoming chat, including a list of questions that will guide the conversation. The chat takes place every Tuesday evening at 8:30 eastern time and is hosted by Lisa Fields and Colin Hung. Participants in the chat include physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, public health professionals, patient advocates, patients, healthcare marketers, IT Professionals, journalists and more. I invite you to join us and will gladly make introductions. It is a very welcoming group.
