Are You Cleaning or Healthing?

Screen Shot 2014-02-10 at 12.55.21 PM Lysol has coined a new phrase to define its particular brand of cleaning: Healthing. You can visit to learn all about it. Briefly, there is good old fashioned cleaning, and then there is healthing, and Lysol products are what set the two apart. As they say in their Healthing brochure, “not all cleaners are created equal.” This is a clever positioning tool for Lysol, and the supporting marketing materials (brochure and website) are really well done. Here’s a video they produced to explain the concept:

Check out the images below that I pulled from their brochure. I like the photography they use and the tonality of the piece. Cleaning and healthcare are often dreaded topics; yet Lysol makes them fun and accessible through its marketing. (The follow spreads from the brochure were scanned so any problems with image quality come from me, not from Lysol.)
