One of my co-workers, Kate Rudy, sent me a link yesterday to a MassMutual TV spot. The spot is called Mother. Within Kate’s email, she made the following comment:
“This commercial seems to capture both the joy and challenges of parenting a special needs child. I bet they (the ad agency) had a great creative brief and most likely interviewed parents to get their perspective.”
I checked out the spot, thanks to Kate’s urging, and it really is well done. It is a great example of effective storytelling using compelling visuals and words – told from the mother’s perspective. This spot rings of authenticity. For that reason, I’m sharing it with you here (thanks to Kate). See below. And let me know what you think.
