This week healthcare marketers in Florida will be gathering for the annual conference of the Florida Society for Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing. The theme for this year’s conference is “Adding a Little Magic to Your PR & Marketing” and will be held in Orlando, Florida from Wednesday, July 17 to Friday, July 19.
Unfortunately, I won’t be attending the conference because I will be in Las Vegas speaking at Spirit of Women’s Annual Executive Meeting. However, Dewey Mooring, one of our vice presidents, will be attending the Florida conference in style. I’m thrilled that he was selected to be a speaker at the event. On Thursday, July 18 at 11:20 a.m., Dewey will present “Staying Connected with Your Referring Physicians.” The presentation will explore how marketing to physicians may be the next great frontier in healthcare marketing, powered by the rise of new media, online video and social networks. Dewey will discuss how the emergence of these contemporary marketing vehicles represents an opportunity for organizations to engage physicians in a manner that could not have been possible in the past.
FSHPRM Annual Education Conference is an opportunity for healthcare marketing and communications professionals to become involved in learning new strategies to bring to their respective fields.
