My prediction is that many healthcare communicators will soon become managers of online communities – if you haven’t already. More of our resources within hospital marketing departments should be diverted to online community development and community management. I strongly believe that creating and nurturing communities of shared interest will be a huge part of the future of healthcare marketing. It should be a huge part of what we are doing today.
