The call for entries has gone out for the 2011 eHealthcare Leadership Awards. This is one of the leading awards program recognizing the very best Web sites of healthcare organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical and medical equipment firms, business improvement initiatives, and supplier Web sites. Winners will be honored this fall during the Fifteenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Orlando, November 7-9, 2011.
Who can enter? According to the website: All organizations and individuals involved in the process of developing or managing a health-related Web site. Additionally, design, strategy, and public relations firms may enter on behalf of their clients.
One of the things I really like about this competition is that it has categories for different sized healthcare organizations: Hospital under 200 beds, 200-399 beds, 400+ beds, Healthcare System, Hospital Subsite/Center of Excellence (examples include sites for heart services/hospital, women’s services, cancer care), or Medical Practice/Clinic.
For healthcare providers and associations, the entry fee is $70 per award category entered. For managed care organizations, online health organizations, pharmaceutical/medical equipment companies, business improvement, and other sites, the fee is $95 per category entered. Deadline is June 30, 2011.
