More Healthcare Print Ads From My Bulletin Board

Here’s a new crop of healthcare print ads I gathered last week as I was traveling around the country. As always, these are scans of the original ads so be warned that the quality has been diminished. I’ve assembled ads that represent an interesting mix of healthcare organizations: Methodist Neurological Institute, MD VIP, Dentiq, Texas Center for Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry, Cincinnati Children’s, Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Enjoy reviewing the ads! And let me know what you think of them. (Just to be clear, my agency did not create any of these.)

  1. In communicating your message to your audience, legibility is a key concern. I find this to be an issue on the Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute and to a lesser degree the Dentiq advertising.

Texas Center for Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry? The full body photos of the blondes in tight slogan tees, the choice of typeface and color, the portrait of the dentist all combine to create a message of infomercial or back of magazine shady business than a reputable healthcare practice. This is the impression given by the graphics and design, and why professional businesses need to hire graphic design and marketing professionals for the visual identity of their business.

  2. very nice ads,xcellent communication 🙂
