This afternoon several members of my team and I are headed to Charleston, SC for the annual conference of the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society (CHPRMS). This is always a great conference, and really well attended. Back in October I had the good fortune of presenting at the Health Leadership Conference in Charleston and I am looking forward to this return trip. Charleston is one of my favorite cities to visit! (Restaurant Tip: If you like Thai cuisine, check out Basil on King Street. It is one of my favorites. (http://eatatbasil.com/)
We’ve got a lot going on at the conference this year. In addition to attending the annual Wallie Awards celebration (always a highlight), my firm is a sponsor of the conference and I will be leading a round table discussion on December 1 at 12:30pm. My topic is marketing to referring physicians – both employed and community-based.
The conference runs from December 1 through December 3. I plan to blog from the event and tweet updates regularly. Additionally, my friend Chris Bevolo is a presenter this year, so that should be a lot of fun. Chris is a really smart marketer and an engaging personality. The folks at CHRPMS are fortunate to have him as a speaker.
I hope to see you at the conference.
