The folks from the Forum for Healthcare Strategists sent me a preview of their upcoming issue of Healthcare Strategy Alert for Healthcare Marketing. I got the special preview because I contributed an article to the magazine. My article is on the power of mommy blogs for reaching female healthcare consumers. Well, when I flipped through the new issue, I was please to see that other contributors this month include two of my favorite peers in the industry: Gabrielle DeTora and Chris Bevolo. It stunned me that all three of us ended up in the same issue! What are the odds?
Chris Bevolo contributed an article about the continued importance of brand building for hospitals. If you don’t know Chris, he recently launched a new healthcare marketing consultancy dedicated to helping healthcare leaders re-envision what their organization’s marketing could be, while also re-energizing management and inspiring staff to think bigger and act differently. Check out Chris’ blog at chrisbevolo.com.
Gabrielle DeTora, another outstanding healthcare marketing consultant, has contributed an article about the process of developing strategic marketing plans using the Six Sigma approach of DMAIC: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. You can visit Gabrielle’s website at www.gabrielledetora.com.
