Have you heard of M2W-HC? It’s a conference dedicated to the topic of marketing healthcare to women? The conference has some big time sponsors including The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease, Aetna, National Women’s Health Resource Center, Pink Tank, LifeScript: Healthy Living for Women, and a bunch of others. Here’s how they describe the conference on the M2W-HC website (www.m2w-hc.com):
“M2W®-HC™ will give you the know-how you need to increase your brand’s emotional, cognitive and financial share of the largest, most lucrative, most active segment of the healthcare market… WOMEN… Women control over 85% of all consumer purchasing including every healthcare category.
M2W®-HC™ has evolved from the highly successful M2W® – The Marketing To Women Conference. M2W®-HC™ is specifically formatted to teach healthcare marketers.
M2W®-HC™ features the best speakers and the brightest minds with real world track records and the ability to show you how to successfully market your brand to today’s woman. Connect with the savviest companies for 2 days of 360 learning on how to increase your sales to today’s woman.
Presenters include nationally and internationally recognized women’s marketing experts, healthcare marketing experts, women’s healthcare marketing experts from research companies, media & ad agencies, and category leading brands worldwide.”
It looks like a conference worth checking out. It will be held in Washington, D.C. on November 5 & 6, 2009 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Get more information at www.m2w-hc.com. One word of warning, the registration fee for the two day event is $1,895.00. This includes research, general sessions, workshops, clinics, continental breakfasts, keynotes, luncheons, on-going refreshments, receptions and conference documentation. Whatever the deal, that’s a hefty price given the current state of our economy.
