There’s a new attraction in Washington, D.C. near Union Station, and the focus is on generating conversations about health. It’s the new Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health. It is a unique educational venue with interactive touchscreen exhibits, state-of-the-art health technology displays, and a conference center. The Center for Total Health contains unique activities that are designed to pique visitors’ interest in their health, their families’ health, and the health of the community. You can visit the Center online at http://www.centerfortotalhealth.org./.

Very cool stuff, obviously. It’s like they’ve created a mini Smithsonian for healthcare.
It will be interesting to see how Kaiser uses this outside of flexing their technology muscles in front of policymakers and foreign health care officials. I haven’t checked this out yet myself (Dan – have you?), but it’s definitely on the to do list. I wonder if this plays a role in KP’s business strategy, particularly as the ACA unfolds and more employers shop around.
Thanks for the links.
