After writing my post last week that listed healthcare marketing blogs, I posted a conversation on LinkedIn asking other marketing professionals to share their favorite healthcare marketing blogs. Here is some of the information I’ve gathered from LinkedIn group members:
Stewart Gandolf let me know about his blog (http://www.GandolfsMarketingMagic.com). He described his blog as being informal, opinionated and broad in scope, including rants on related issues like the economy, politics and Internet marketing.
Patricia Spinner, group publisher at Canon Communications added: “I like Chris Truelove’s weekly review of all the healthcare blogs which is an enewsletter (subscribe on www.pharmalive .com) and The Med Ad News Insider.”
Warren A. Johnson, Corporate Marketing Director at MidMichigan Health, mentioned a list of worthy healthcare marketing blogs at http://www.squidoo.com/hospitalmarketing#module41596872. It is indeed a good list and there is a lot of redundancy between that list and the one I produced. Some of the blogs it includes are:
* Hospital Impact Blog – http://www.hospitalimpact.org
* Health Vox Blog – http://www.healthcarevox.com
* Running a Hospital (Paul Levy) – http://runningahospital.blogspot.com/
* The Healthcare Marketer – http://thehealthcaremarketer.wordpress.com (one of my blogs)
* The Healthcare Marketing Community & Blog – http://healthcaremarketing.ning.com (my healthcare marketing community)
* MarketShare (HealthLeaders Media) – http://blogs.healthleadersmedia.com/marketshare/
* Unsolicited Marketing Advice – http://unsolicitedmarketingadvice.blogspot.com
* Weekly Probe – http://www.weeklyprobe.com/
There are many others listed, as well as other resources for healthcare marketers! Check it out online at http://www.squidoo.com/hospitalmarketing#module41596872.
